Process Introduction
120g paper uses a maximum fiber refining degree (≥95°SR) to ensure fiber flattening and air expulsion. The pulp is formed at very low consistency (0.6‑0.8%) to achieve uniform formation. Pressing with moderate linear pressure prevents fiber collapse. Primary drying at 60‑70°C for slow shrinkage. Semi‑dry calendering at 120 kN/m at 12‑15% moisture. Surface sizing with high‑concentration PVA for superior water and oil resistance. Secondary drying to 6‑8% moisture, then finishing calendering.
