Process Introduction
Base paper with beating degree 82‑85°SR. After forming and pressing, the web is pre‑dried. A dual‑layer coating is applied: first chitosan (2.0 g/m²), then sodium alginate (1.5 g/m²) via curtain coater. Each layer is crosslinked at 120‑140°C. Final hard calendering ensures a smooth, pinhole‑free surface. The paper passes the 60℃ olive oil immersion test (30 min) with no penetration.
